God desires to be your source of wisdom and solutions for all situations. Truly, He has ordained a way of revealing and imparting His wisdom to solve the widest range of problems. His wisdom is a gift. He gives the gift in different measures, but offers the Source of the gift to all: His Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
(Isaiah 11:2)
RELEVANCE
Tapping into God’s wisdom is our challenge. There is one basic requirement: embracing the fear of the LORD; the reverence of God, sense of awe concerning His incredible power, ability, knowledge and amazing grace.
“To know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
To receive the instruction of wisdom,
Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion —
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
(Proverbs 1:2-7)
