You are meant to experience God in a real way. So no matter how hard the road may seem, no matter how hard it may be to discover truth, God is faithful to lead us in the way we need to go to find His grace and His truth. They come to a beautiful place of convergence! There, He reveals His glory. There we come to say as Job did: “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You” (Job 42:5). Where and how do you see God?
RELEVANCE
Many times I’ve wandered down a dark, cold and narrow road wondering, when will God show up? When will I experience breakthrough and victory? What will it take? Sometimes He asks me the same question: “What will it take?”
God waits for our heart to be soft. Sometimes He waits for us to come to the right level of humility. Sometimes He waits for us to come into the right degree of alignment with Him to advance at a greater pace. If we continue on the path, He will be there just when we need Him. Right before, He will typically want to know what we have learned on the most recent segment of the journey. He wants to seal the lessons deep in our soul.
The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth,
To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
(Psalm 25:9-10)Mercy and truth have met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed.
Truth shall spring out of the earth,
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Yes, the LORD will give what is good;
And our land will yield its increase.
Righteousness will go before Him,
And shall make His footsteps our pathway.
